We all know it isn't cheap for trash removal and the lowest bid isn't always the best way to go. Having each family search out an individual company and that company creating more traffic and more curb side debris on more days makes no sense for any of us. Every penny counts today and adding to the traffic and the extra wear and tear on the already choked roadways is not good business.TommyR -COLSNSnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1564216117559112927.post-45227388271416466512009-10-14T09:58:45.924-04:002009-10-14T09:58:45.924-04:00Anyone with common sense should see that the buyin...Anyone with common sense should see that the buying power of an entire community would get a better price than every homeowner getting their own pickup service.

Put the contract out to bid and go with the lowest bidder.

Enough of all the political posturing in the board room.
